WELCOME TO GSI
Our number one priority is your success.
GS Investments, formed in 1993, is an independent, SEC-registered, investment advisor, located in downtown Minneapolis. We manage separate accounts for individuals, corporate pension and profit-sharing plans, foundations, and numerous endowments. We work closely with our clients to develop an appropriate investment strategy in order to achieve their long-term investment objectives.
Our mission is to be the premier provider of investment management guidance. We focus on meeting the unique objectives of each client, offering objective, high-quality, personalized services while achieving superior long-term investment performance, net of all costs.
INVESTMENT PROCESS
We believe every client has unique investment objectives. Constant among long-term investors is the desire to seek an appropriate, efficient, and cost effective structure to meet their objectives.
We seek to build separately managed accounts using core holdings of attractively valued, individual securities with the potential for growth. We also look to opportunistically complement the majority of portfolios with fixed income securities and “alternative” investment, in an effort to provide necessary income and adequate diversification while reducing risk and exchanging returns over time.
We strive to provide a high quality investment management experience for our clients.
We focus on the unique objectives for each client and manage not only to long-term strategic target allocations, but also to nearer-term tactical opportunities.
We are mindful of the tax status of each account and historically have experienced low turnover.
We pay attention to asset placement, making certain the appropriate types of assets are in the appropriate accounts.
We believe market timing is risky at best and often leads to notable under-performance. Therefore, we remain fully invested in a balanced mix of investment securities in which we have conviction.
We utilize inversely-correlated asset classes to simultaneously enhance returns while reducing risk
